Dr. Theresa Batac, a native of Chesapeake, Virginia, is another shining star in our team. With a doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, she has provided outstanding eye care since 1990. Dr. Batac's academic achievements include Honors in Primary care, Pediatrics, and Low Vision. Before her optometric journey, she graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry from ODU and a B.S. in Physiological Optics from PCO.
Dr. Batac's dedication to her profession extends to leadership roles as she proudly served as the past president of the Tidewater Optometric Society. She is an invaluable consultant for the VA Department for the Visually Handicapped. She is fully certified by the ABO, NBEO, and Virginia Board of Optometry to diagnostically and therapeutically prescribe medications for diseases of the eye.
