Dr. John Dragon, an accomplished optometrist, brings a wealth of experience to our practice. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Dr. Dragon's journey in optometry began in 1984 when he graduated from Susquehanna University with a degree in Biology. He earned his doctorate from the prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1988, located in the vibrant city of Philadelphia.
Dr. Dragon's commitment to eye care extended to the United States Navy, where he served as a Navy Optometrist at Sewells Point Clinic and Boone Clinic at Little Creek Amphibious Base. His dedication to our armed forces and their eye health is a testament to his compassionate nature.
After completing his service with the Navy, Dr. Dragon joined our practice in 1999 as an associate. His expertise and commitment to excellence in eye care led him to become a partner in January 2003. Dr. Dragon is not only passionate about optometry; he's also board-certified by the Board of Optometry to use diagnostic drugs and by the Board of Medicine to treat and prescribe medication for external diseases of the eye.
